Who Is This Service For?

So much more than an initial consultation, the Strategy Session is designed for parents who don't know where to start, but need more than the general information they've already received from community and online resources.

What Exactly Is Included In This Service?

The Special Education M.A.P. process uses information provided by the parents to pinpoint the specific issues we need to focus on during your 45-minute meeting. That way, we don't waste time chatting about extraneous details -- we use the time efficiently and jump right to the answers you need, including an explanation of any next steps.

Before you meet with Attorney Dunn, she'll let you know if she needs copies of any of your child's education records to review in advance. At the end of your 45-minute meeting or phone call, you'll be equipped to handle the next step in advocating for your child.

How Do I Get Started?

It starts by entering your name and email on the Contact page, so that you can receive a Parent Questionnaire. This detailed questionnaire gives Attorney Dunn the information she needs to determine if a Strategy Session (or possibly the IEP Roadmap service) is right for you. She will then email you an Engagement Letter with instructions on how to book your service and make your payment. There is no commitment, and no attorney-client relationship formed, until you submit your signed Engagement Letter along with the fee.

How Much Does This Service Cost?

Each Special Education M.A.P. service is provided on a flat fee basis, paid in advance when you return your signed Engagement Letter. Current fee information is included in the Welcome Email you'll receive when you enter your name and email on the Contact form. There is no obligation or fee incurred for submitting your completed Parent Questionnaire; you can choose whether or not to move forward after reviewing the Engagement Letter.
